Creating Brave and Boundaried Intimacy for Stage and Screen

Simulated Intimacy. Real Care.

I’m Erin,

Intimacy Director and Coordinator
Dramaturg
Restorative Justice Facilitator
Arts Equity Coach and Consultant.

I help creative teams tell stories of connection, desire, and vulnerability with integrity, ensuring that both artistic vision and personal boundaries are honored. With over 20 years of experience in education, directing, and conflict work in performing arts spaces, I’m uniquely positioned to understand what’s at stake when we do this work wrong, and what becomes possible when we do it right.

I work with people to build brave, boundaried spaces where art and consent coexist seamlessly. My approach blends buoyant facilitation and a director’s eye with restorative justice, equity, and a sense of humor about the whole, beautifully messy business of being human.

Why Hire an Intimacy Coordinator?

Because good storytelling shouldn’t come at anyone’s expense.

  • Builds trust and safety (and better performances!)
  • Keeps your production compliant and your actors empowered
  • Transforms “we have to do this scene” into “we get to tell this story”
  • Brings joy, integrity and healthy risk-taking to the creative process

Rave Reviews

“To mitigate the strife, there are dashes of levity, especially in the sex-positive scenes. …“Sperm Donor Wanted” is about more than the daunting challenges that queer families must overcome to have a child. It’s about allowing yourself to be vulnerable, risking untold hardship, but also, offering a chance for utmost happiness.”
