A relational warm-up for creative teams

The Wisdom of the Circle Deck is a simple, powerful tool for directors, intimacy professionals, actors, and crews who want to build trust, presence, and clarity before creating vulnerable or embodied work.

Adapted from restorative justice circle practice, each card offers a prompt that helps ensembles check in, surface needs, name boundaries, and align before stepping into rehearsal or shooting intimate, emotionally charged, or cross-identity material. Use the deck at the top of the day to ground the room, between takes to reset after heavy scenes, or in post-rehearsal debriefs to support reflection and repair. It’s a flexible, tactile way to cultivate the relational conditions of safety, curiosity, and accountability, that make great storytelling possible.
